Role Summary: Embark on a journey with us as a Senior Unity Developer and become a cornerstone in developing our flagship mobile game. With your profound Unity expertise, you will be the alchemist transforming imaginative concepts into gaming experiences that resonate deeply across Android and iOS platforms. Must be located in the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design and development teams to create game specifications and establish development pipelines.
• Develop and implement game functionality, transforming design ideas into functional and engaging games.
• Write and maintain clean, efficient game codes, and identify as well as rectify bugs and bottlenecks.
• Continuously test, design, and implement game patches and upgrades.
• Work within Agile frameworks, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and continuous improvement processes.
• Build and maintain reusable code and libraries for future use, with an emphasis on security, performance, and code quality.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Unity development, preferably with experience in mobile 3D game development.
• Strong knowledge of C#, including game physics integration.
• Proven track record in team handling and working collaboratively in large teams.
• Experience in reducing code complexity and contributing to at least one major project is a plus.
• Experienced of 2D/3D game development using Unity Engine is required;
• Experience with Unity scripting, textures, animation, particle systems, 3d assets, physics.
• Experience implementing automated testing platforms and Unit tests is a plus.
• Experienced with cloud platforms is a plus.

Additional Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge of online communication and networking technologies.
• Knowledge and experience of Design Patterns.
• Proficiency in native languages for iOS and Android platforms is a plus.
• Good at Algorithms, Math and Physics.

Work Environment: We are currently a fully remote studio. We are calling for individuals across the United States who are ready to join our narrative from 9-5 PM based on their local time zone, Monday through Friday. We are unable to bring on international candidates at this time.

Compensation: Muddy Robot Games invites you to contribute your skills and expertise as a contractor. Instead of a traditional salary, you will receive equity shares in the company, signifying your role as a stakeholder. The initial value of your equity is based on a fair market valuation, corresponding to the agreed-upon worth of your input. 

Our equity compensation model is structured to proportionately reward your contributions. As the company progresses, it’s important to understand that the value of your equity may vary with market conditions and company performance.
