Role Summary: As a Unity Developer at Muddy Robot Games, you will be instrumental in breathing life into our mobile gaming projects. With your Unity expertise, you will translate creative visions into tangible experiences that enchant players on both Android and iOS platforms.  Must be located in the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the design and development teams to refine gaming concepts and contribute to development strategies.
• Implement game functionality, ensuring that our design ideas are transformed into smooth and immersive games.
• Develop clean and efficient game code, and proactively address any bugs or performance issues.
• Engage in regular testing and iterative updates to enhance game quality.
• Participate in Agile development cycles, contributing to team stand-ups, sprint planning, and overall process improvements.
• Contribute to the creation of reusable code and libraries to streamline future game development.

Educational Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in Unity development, with a focus on mobile 3D game development.
• Solid understanding of C# and game physics integration.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Proven skills in 2D/3D game development with Unity Engine, including scripting, textures, animation, particle systems, and physics.
• Familiarity with automated testing and cloud platforms is a bonus.

Additional Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge of online communication and networking technologies.
• Knowledge and experience of Design Patterns.
• Proficiency in native languages for iOS and Android platforms is a plus.
• Good at Algorithms, Math and Physics.
• Willingness to keep up with the latest technologies and tools in game development.

Work Environment: We are currently a fully remote studio. We are calling for individuals across the United States who are ready to join our narrative from 9-5 PM based on their local time zone, Monday through Friday. We are unable to bring on international candidates at this time.

Compensation: Muddy Robot Games invites you to contribute your skills and expertise as a contractor. Instead of a traditional salary, you will receive equity shares in the company, signifying your role as a stakeholder. The initial value of your equity is based on a fair market valuation, corresponding to the agreed-upon worth of your input. 

Our equity compensation model is structured to proportionately reward your contributions. As the company progresses, it’s important to understand that the value of your equity may vary with market conditions and company performance. It is essential for prospective contractors to consult with a professional regarding the legal and tax implications of equity compensation.
